The Doctor and Clara investigate and find out that this is Trenzalore – the planet were the Doctor dies. It’s the Time Lords sending the question in order to return to the universe, and everyone else in the galaxy wants to stop that. The Doctor is caught in the middle between defending the people of Trenzaore and keeping the Time Lords from invading the universe. And he also must come to grips with his impending mortality.
