Comic Con International 2018, aka San Diego Comic Con 2018 (SDCC), was last week.
This was the first public appearance of the new cast for Doctor Who. Usually the Doctor Who panel is in Hall H on Sunday, but this year it was Thursday morning.
Here I am early Thursday morning in line for entry into Hall H, the line snaked around to the back of the convention center, behind me are stairs that indicates the middle of the convention center floor.
While waiting in line Kevin Smith walked by.
Then I got in! Jodie Whittaker walked in with a hood and revealed herself to the Whovians in Hall H! The rest of the cast, Tosin Cole and Mandip Gill (minus Bradley Walsh) came out as well.

And a new sonic screwdriver was revealed!
Afterwards I got to meet up with more fans and friends alike.
Met up with Deborah, fellow Whovian and supporter of Who New Podcast.
Got to meet Monica from Temple of Geek.
Met up with fellow podcaster Jeffrey Taylor (From Crisis to Crisis: A Superman Podcast).
And the highlight, I got to meet Freema Agyeman, Martha Jones from season 3.
I did SDCC 2018 solo this time around, I found it a lot easier to get into panels and navigate the crowded convention floor. From the pictures you can tell that this year’s comic con was very Doctor Who centered, what better way to welcome the new 13th Doctor and new team. Met some great fans while waiting in line, hope to see you all again next year, when the future becomes the present!
