While talking to Clara on the phone, Danny is killed in a car accident. In her grief, Clara threatens the Doctor to make everything right again, but he won’t respond to threats. After some emotional sparring, he agrees to do everything he can to find Danny.
They wind up in a high tech mausoleum where skeletons sit in tanks of water. They meet Missy, who seems even odder than she appears. And they are told that the dead are still conscious and feel everything that happens to their body. It suddenly becomes more urgent to find Danny and The Doctor is determined to figure out exactly what is going on.
