The Doctor’s past (relatively) comes back to haunt him when a Gallifrean statue that he hid in a comet centuries ago returns to Earth. If its three pieces are brought together, it can destroy the whole world.

The statue is also wanted by a group of Neo-Nazis who want to build the Fourth Reich, Cybermen who want to use it to finally destroy Earth, and Lady Peinforte, a sorceress who wants it to achieve her destiny. The Doctor and Ace race across time and space to find the pieces first.
